I thoroughly enjoyed the game as a bite-sized sci-fi rogue adventure simple top down shooter to kill a bit of time with. Crates can also drop ammo pick ups (red and gray rectangles (look like candy bars to me :P I thought they were health)) and heatlh packs (but I think those only from the safes?). You can break open crates/explosive barrels/safes to find 3 different resource types (enemies drop some as well) and you can use these at a crafting table to craft Ammo, Mines, Health packs. You also pick up random items that give you some sort of boost for your character such as increase critical hit chance, random +/- grenades, + speed, + healing, +dmg/elemental dmg-over-time - (mouse over the icon after you pick it up to see what it does). You get a single gun (left click) and mines (right click) - not 'grenades' because you can't throw them which is a bummer. While the AI attack patterns/routes are all pretty much the same the few attack differences mentioned along with the wildly varying appearance of the enemies can keep it feeling fresh every few rooms. Other key unique AI attacks include a spider type enemy that shoots webs that can slow you down and another enemy that can shoot damaging acid that will remain on the ground for some time. There are a few that attack by spawning smaller enemies. Monsters can vary a lot in their look but they have simple AI - rush directly for the player, and attack by shooting or melee/touching the player. It's decent and well suited with some additional sfx for machines whirring. Nice atmosphere, music is basically just ambience. I think it's referring to the electrified puddles and acid on the floor in some rooms? Nothing you would 'set off' that tries to be obscured (so nothing annoying IMO). Rooms placed end to end - just different shaped rooms that open up to another one from the right or bottom. Procedural generation is nice, but the levels are still linear.
